Travel Insurance?

  1. It’s very foolish to travel internationally without insurance. I know this from back when my father was a travel agent and occasionally had to get involved in repatriating people who’d been taken ill when abroad. The resulting bills were horrendous. Not as bad as for repatriating a body normally. but not something any “normal” person would want to have to pay.

    1. We normally get travel insurance, especially for international travel. We have heard some horrible stories of people getting sick or hurt and the medical costs they incurred.

  2. I’m unable to vote for some reason. My work extended benefits include international travel, as does my credit card. When traveling while unemployed, I’ve purchased insurance for a period longer than my travel plans “just in case”.
